About Me

My name is Jacob Rasmussen, and I’m the founder and sole bookkeeper behind Utah Valley Bookkeeping. I graduated from Utah Valley University and bring two years of hands-on accounting experience from the solar industry, where I continue to work as a staff accountant. This experience has given me a foundation of skills and knowledge of bookkeeping. What I really wanted was to put those skills to work closer to home, for the people and businesses that make up the community I live in.

Starting Utah Valley Bookkeeping was about more than building a business. It was about doing work that feels meaningful. I’m a people-first person at heart, and this work gives me the chance to be involved with people and help them with their businesses.
